What’s life without a boxing story? Paramount Pictures has greenlighted The Fighter starring Mark Wahlberg and Matt Damon. The movie is about the boxer, “Irish” Mickey Ward and his surprising climb to the lightweight belt. But in this real life story, Dicky (Micky’s half brother…stay with me) plays Mick to Mickey’s Rocky. You got it? Wahlberg will be doing the fighting and Damon will be doing the training.

Shooting is expected to start early this summer in Massachusetts which is quite fitting since both actors are from Massachusetts.
