Jerry Bruckheimer
There are those movie titles that you know are going to raise some eyebrows, this being one of them. Good thing that Disney and Jerry Bruckheimer are teaming up to do Jihadists in Paradise so people might think that it’s a family movie of some sort.

The movie is based on an article that Mark Bowden wrote in the Atlantic Monthly. Bowden is also penning the screenplay. Bowden is also the author of Black Hawk Down which was another Bruckheimer produced script.
The movie will follow the spawn of the Phillipino Islamic terrorist faction, Abu Sayyaf and its leader Aldam Tilao. Tilao and his gang weren’t exactly on the fast track to winning any Nobel Peace Prizes as they kidnapped and tortured many hostages along the way. They’ve killed at least 30 foreigners in their history including 3 Americans.
Bowden’s stories and books have led to other movies which are in the process of being made, namely Guests of the Ayatollah and Killing Pablo.
