Sigourney Weaver in Aliens
It looks like James Cameron has still got a crush on Sigourney Weaver. After blowing away audiences and sci fi marines in Aliens with the help of Weaver, the director is ready to reunite with the actress for his upcoming project Avatar.

Avatar's cast is now up to 8 with Joel David Moore, CCH Pounder, Peter Mensah, Laz Alonso, Wes Studi, Sam Worthington and Zoe Saldana. Oh yeah - and Sigourney Weaver.
Weaver will play a veteran interplanetary explorer who serves as a mentor to Jake Sully (Worthington), a wounded ex-Marine thrust unwillingly into an effort to explore and exploit an exotic planet rich in biodiversity. Ultimately, he crosses over to lead the planet's indigenous race in a battle for survival.
Avatar is Cameron's first feature since Titanic and it's a doozy. Have no doubt in the director, he has had this project in his mind for over a decade. Even better, the film will arrive in both 3-D and 2-D formats.
