Meet the Parents
That’s right folks! Universal has just announced that it will start developing Little Fockers, the third installment in the series. Why not, when it’s one of your highest earning franchises ever? Jay Roach, who directed Meet the Parents (earned $300 million worldwide) and Meet the Fockers (earned $515 million worldwide), is being wooed to be at the helm for the third picture as well.
Universal Ready to Deliver Little Fockers
Not only would Ben Stiller, Robert De Niro, Teri Polo and Blythe Danner be invited back to the table, Universal has great interest to bring back Stiller’s sex crazed parents played by Dustin Hoffman and Barbara Streisand. The man in charge of putting all those characters on paper will be up to Larry Stuckey.
This news comes on the back of Universal’s announcement that they have singed De Niro’s Tribeca Productions for another 2 years bringing their relationship to a an 8 year stint.
