South Park - The Complete Ninth Season
Ryan may have just freeze framed on the photoreal picture of the South Park kids, but I listened to every minicommentary Matt and Trey did. I always listen to them because they're hilarious. Though in more recent seasons of the show they have proven themselves to be consummate professionals with real ideas behind their art, they still manage to drop some hilarious tangents.

Ripping on Adam Sandler is pure Trey and Matt. They have the clout to do it because they are so freaking funny themselves, even if the mainstream hasn't picked up on them as readily. By this commentary session, they're so talked out about Trapped in the Closet that they just discuss John Travolta's community.
They reveal some personal tidbits also in the baseball and ginger kids episodes. Find out about Trey's childhood dreams and his love life.
Among the interesting production details, they say they originally had four minutes of sex change footage that got paired down. Dog the Bounty Hunter could have appeared one year earlier, but that worked out for the best. I never realized Wing was a real singer. If you're wondering about all the video game references on the show, that's addressed. Making the boys look distinct in their baseball uniforms is an interesting challenge.
The most artistically intriguing is the Death of Eric Cartman episode, where the whole episode was planned except for the inciting incident. Now when you look back, it's clear that was the last part they wrote.
