Those of you who have already read my impressions on 300 know that I am a big fan of the film. After delivering a constant stream of media over the past month, Warner Bros figured they might as well go one better by releasing a 300-second clip for 300.

They aren't messing around either, as this clip features a mixture of dialogue, narration and action!

Extended Clip: 300

You know the giant-monster-thing that you get to see in just about every trailer for 300 (pictured right)? Well, it turns out that this baddie is one heavy hitter that even gets our near-invincible Spartans winded.

Since I have seen the film I can tell you that this entire scene is unbelievably cool and, though five minutes is a long time for action, this same fight sequence continues on long after the clip ends.

Some of you may think to yourselves that Warner Bros is getting desperate and showing off the film's best material. Let me respond to that by saying, WRONG! Yes, this clip is cool, but I can guarantee that you will find the action selections to be plentiful when 300 hits theatres this Friday.

Check out all the extended clip for 300 over at MTV.

300 opens to theatres on March 9th, 2007.

For the video journals, stills, trailers, more stills, review, posters and movie info, head over to the 300 Movie Page.

Stay tuned for updates.
