Sunshine
For those of you craving either a little more Sunshine or a little more of Clint Mansell, you are in luck! The UK trailer for the film gives away some more plot details while jamming one of Mansell's greatest hits.
Sunshine Trailer
How many trailers have I heard this score used in? Well, this piece of music first originated from Requiem for a Dream. Since most moviegoers aren't prone to watching two females go ass-to-ass (why not?), not many had the priviledge of listening to some of Mansell's finest work. Fortunately, New Line had the hots for the track, added an orchestra, and recreated the piece for the Lord of the Rings: The Two Towers trailer. The track has been used in countless trailers since including the game trailer for Eragon and a couple of trailers for Sunshine.
Am I poking fun? Hell no, it's a damn good track!
The new trailer for Sunshine does feature some new plot details that should better explain where all this 'action' and 'suspense' comes from. Watch the UK version at MSN UK.
Sunshine will open to theatres May 4th.
