Spider-Man 3
It would seem that Columbia Pictures wasn't all that honest. We were promised a two-minute clip from Spider-Man 3 during Heroes and were instead given about thirty seconds. We forgive them, however, as the "six minute clip" over at NBC is actually seven and a half minutes.
Extended Spider-Man 3 Preview at NBC
For a bit of more good news, the NBC preview comes in both 480p and 720p - costing NBC at least 250MBs a viewing.
The clip starts out with a romantic interlude between Parker and Mary Jane and then jumps to Parker discussing the big M with Aunt May. With age comes wisdom and a wedding ring. (Why the heck didn't she sell that thing when the bank came a knockin?)
It turns out that Parker is still hurting financially, so Aunt May passes her own wedding ring down to him. Definitely beats the twenty-dollar birthday present given in the last installment.
But enough with that, onto the action!
You can immediately spot the improvement in special effects as Parker is forced to duke it out with Harry without costume. There are some moments that a feel a little CG, but the entire clip is rather bueno.
