Dukes of Hazzard- The Beginning
I am still contemplating who the actual human being was who green lighted this. Living off a known name for money’s sake is one thing (see: Miami Vice) but this whole Dukes of Hazzard business is getting embarrassing.
DVD Review: Dukes of Hazzard - The Beginning
The Dukes of Hazzard: The Beginning is such an insult to your intelligence that I seriously want to find a way to “Men in Black” my memory of the last hour and a half. The story of the movie is about the early days of Luke and Bo and how they became The Dukes of Hazzard. Apparently, someone thought we cared.
The acting is atrocious (Willie Nelson had to have gotten “weed for life” to have agreed to do this movie) and it’s never a movie that you could at least trick yourself into thinking that you were enjoying it.
Writing anymore on this movie would seriously pain me so I will refrain. My apologies. What can I expect though? This thing went straight to DVD.
Dukes of Hazzard- The Beginning comes to DVD on March 13th.
