Naomi Watts for Kicked, Bitten and Scratched: Life and Lessons at the World's Premiere School for Exotic Animal Trainers
My sister used to work with wild animals and I do remember that she walked away with some nice puncture wounds on her hand (from a bear) and another set farther down her arm (from an alligator). It was hard to worry about her safety, however, when I was given the brotherly perks of being allowed to play and pet some of the coolest animals on the planet.
But where were we?
Naomi Watts has signed on to star in the adaptation of Amy Sutherland's (here it comes) Kicked, Bitten and Scratched: Life and Lessons at the World's Premiere School for Exotic Animal Trainers.
The film will be developed as a romantic comedy with scribes Todd Louiso and Jacob Koskoff currently working on a script.
Sutherland's novel focuses on the year she spent with students at the Exotic Animal Training and Management Program at Moorpark College, where students learn how to communicate with animals such as camels, emus, baboons, cougars, wolves and snakes. Most of these students go on to hold top positions at the world's best zoos.
