Columbia Pictures has released a new video journal for Spider-Man 3 that is a lot cooler than just a tour of on-set trailers. This time we get to meet George Stevens. Who is Stevens you ask? Just the guy who handles Spidy's webbing and without webbing there is no Spidy.

It is good to see Columbia Pictures giving more attention to some of the less-acknowledged players involved with Spider-Man 3. The latest video journal, "Web Master", has nothing to do with the film's official site but rather the guy who creates the nifty webbing used in the Spider-Man films.
To add a bit more excitement to the process, know that Tobey Maguire and Kirsten Dunst count on George Stevens for their safety, as they will later have to spread their weight across this same webbing at one time or another. For something that has absolutely no knots, webbing becomes just as much a science as it is an art.
