Veronica Mars very own Kristen Bell is ready to try her hand at er, "romantic disaster movie" in Forgetting Sarah Marshall.

Universal Pictures has cast Bell as the film's title character. Jason Segal, one of the stars of CBS' "How I Met Your Mother," not only wrote the scribe but will also star as well.
Nicholas Stoller will make his directorial debut under the guidance of producers Judd Apatow and Shauna Robertson.
Forgetting Sarah Marshall follows a man (Segel) who gets dumped by his TV sitcom star girlfriend Sarah Marshall (Bell). He heads to Hawaii to forget the relationship but learns that the girl, and her new boyfriend, are staying at his resort.
Universal will handle distribution. Production start is still unknown.
Bell can next be seen in TWC's Fanboys, coming our way late summer. She will be sporting Princess Leia garb, something you shouldn't miss.
