After a week of promises it has finally arrived - the first trailer for Eagle vs. Shark. Bret had his moment in front of the camera as an extra in Lord of the Rings: Return of the King, and now the other FOTC, Jermaine Clement, is ready to try his acting skills in a lead role; which I guess is a little better than a cameo role.
So, how does he do?

Jermaine has made a career out of awkward songs that draw laughs in a stand-up fashion, and now he finds something else that fits him - an awkward movie. But, like Flight of the Conchords, Eagle vs Shark does have laughs sprinkled into the mix. It could just be me, however, as watching Jermaine do anything makes me somewhat giddy.
As a warm-up to the trailer, check out some of the first movie stills for the film. Anyone notice that two of these stills were used for the posters? Weak!
