This only goes to prove that 30 million votes can be wrong. Even though I ranked Stephanie in the bottom third the past two weeks, she was certainly not the person I would have predicted to be voted off. The bigger shock was Chris Richardson in the bottom two. He had one of his best performances this week. I see a Justin Timberlakesque quality about him. What is wrong with America? I was speechless and believe me that is a rare occurrence.
American Idol S6 Elimination Round 2
The ever-adorable Peter Noone performed “A Kind of Hush”. He’s still got it. A stunningly radiant LuLu sang her movie theme “To Sir with Love”. I wasn’t too fond of this rendition. It is such a romantic ballad. I get the idea of trying to make it more current, but sometimes the original is just better. The most amazing thing about the two of them is Peter Noone is 60 and LuLu is 59! They are awesome representatives of the baby boomer generation.
We are now down to the ‘Touring Top 10’. I’m sure the producers are happy Sanjaya is still there to sell more tickets to 10-12 year olds and their parents.
