Disney/Pixar has released the full trailer for
their upcoming animated film Ratatouille
- film that they are supposedly having a tough time figuring out how to
market.
Ratatouille Trailer
After taking audiences on incredible journeys to
the worlds of cars, superheroes, fish and toys, only the amazing storytellers
at Pixar Animation Studios (Cars, Finding
Nemo, The Incredibles) could create an
entirely new and original world where the unthinkable combination of 5-star
restaurants and rats come together for the ultimate fish-out-of-water tale.
Hot damn does Pixar keep getting better and better at creating CG animation
or what? Unlike the teaser trailer, which didn't show much, the new trailer
takes advantage of every possible second to show off just how far animation
has come and the new look of CG humans, which look good by the way.
Just when we thought Ratatouille was a story of a rat stealing
food from fine dining, it turns out that it is a story of a rat helping
a young cook become a chef in fine dining. Ah, now I get it!
The film looks like good times, now if only Pixar can really make us appreciate
the CG in quicktime HD.
