Megatron
Back in January we were told that Hugo Weaving and Frank Welker were currently battling to do the part, or should I say voice, of Megatron for the upcoming Transformers movie.
It has now been confirmed that -- only two months later -- Weaving's voice, which recently created one hell of a 'V', was the better option.
Hugo Weaving to Voice Megatron
Paramount Pictures has again resorted to the SectorSeven website to release new casting information for Transformers.
If you were to go to the site, plug in the password:NBETWO, and click the highlighted scorpion at the bottom of the page, you will discover a list of emails. The top email, "Counter-Information Campaign," has this to say:
OPERATION: Hungry Dragon 2 continues. As of today, Agent H. Weaving has officially convinced S.S., M.B., R.O., and A.K. to assign him to oversee the Megaman issue. The recording will commence immediately.
All the years of investment into Agent Weaving's public persona have finally paid off. He will monitor the campaign from the inside and report on its progress free from suspicion.
By this summer, the population will think N.B.E.s are nothing more than a figment of someone's overactive imagination.
Our power lies in our secrecy.
If you thought this 'email' was slightly off the charts, you should read the others.
