Now that Elizabeth Banks has shown how to use a bathtub faucet for sexual pressure, I mean pleasure, the cute but seemingly ditzy actress will join up with Universal to try a wedding comedy.
Elizabeth Banks for What About Barb
Universal Pictures has picked up Elizabeth Banks for What About Barb, a romantic comedy where banks will play a socialite who must allow her uncouth cousin to be maid of honor so her nouveau riche uncle will pay for the wedding.
Sounds like something a girl would do.
The film will be written by Mark Perez, who recently showed us a new way to go to school with Accepted. Mary Parent and Scott Stuber will producer through their Stuber/Parent banner.
Though her role in the Spider-Man films has yet to take off, we can again expect to see Banks in Spider-Man 3 as Betty Brant. She also has a couple other projects coming our way including the Vaughn comedy Fred Claus and Starship Dave.
