Evan Almighty
After posting an early review for the comedy earlier today, we now have the feature trailer for Evan
Almighty.
How does it look? Pretty biblical... in the most funny of terms.
Evan Almighty Trailer
Got to love Moviefone. Though they do offer the trailer for Evan Almighty in their own player, why not give the option to watch it in glorious quicktime? Genius! (I hope Yahoo! Movies is paying attention)
Though Evan Almighty is supposedly a sequel to Bruce Almighty, it is best to witness this resurrection as its own film. Yes, both Steve Carell and Morgan Freeman are back, but just leave it alone and go with it.
Instead of making Carell's character God, however, he gets the role of Noah. If you are an animal lover it's not necessarily a bad gig. But if you are a member of Congress, troubling (hilarious) situations are bound to ensue. Bring in the white beard and, well, you get my drift.
Steve Carell looks great as Evan and one can only admire the animal effects.
