Milo Ventimiglia
Lakeshore went with the package deal by picking up four names for their upcoming thriller, Pathology.
Milo Ventimiglia, Lauren Lee Smith, Johnny Whitworth and Alyssa Milano for Pathology
The power-absorbing hero from Heroes, Milo Ventimiglia, has been picked up by Lakeshore along with Lauren Lee Smith to star in Pathology. The two will have help, as both Johnny Whitworth and hottie Alyssa Milano have also been picked up to play supporting characters.
Set to be the feature directorial debut of Mark Scholermann -- who currently specializes in commercials -- Pathology tells the story of a group of med students who hatch a scheme to see who can commit the perfect crime -- one that even a fellow pathologist couldn't unravel.
Production is set to begin early May with MGM already on board to distribute the film domestically. Who to handle international distribution? Lakeshore plans to have that all figured out at Cannes.
Ventimiglia was last seen on the bigscreen next to Sylvester Stallone in Rocky Balboa. Though shadowed by the bruiser in the film, Ventimiglia's fame has recently shot up faster than Superman thanks to a lead role in the hit NBC series, Heroes.
