Live Free or Die Hard
Just when I was about to give this April 3rd the official title of "Slowest News Day... Ever", Fox has got the blood pumping with the feature trailer for Live
Free or Die Hard!
Movie Trailer: Live Free or Die Hard
I don't know what 'Trailer E' means exactly, except for maybe 'Excellanto'. Besides the action, which is great, the feature trailer for Die Hard 4.0, excuse me, Live Free or Die Hard shows off the impressive expanded cast. Yes, yes, I know Bruce Willis and Justin Long are in the film, but it is Timothy Olyphant and Maggie Q that I am most anxious to see. I have admitted (in both counts) that the actress was my 'celebrity crush' and came 'out of the closet' when I said I'd go gay for Olyphant.
So there you go.
Besides the new mugs, the trailer -- which comes in Quicktime HD by the way --
is chalk full of action playing under Beethoven's "Ode to Joy", rock style.
What's different with this fourth Die Hard installment? Well, besides the big-budget action, the story does what the first two films did - got John McClane's family involved. You want to hold McClaine's hottie daughter (Elizabeth Winstead) hostage? Well, he knows how to respond to that:
I am going to go kill this guy and get my daughter. Or get my daughter and go kill this guy. Or kill all of them.
Does this film not look kind of True Lies to anyone? Not that I mind, I love(d) True Lies.

Live Free or Die Hard opens to theatres on June 29th.
