Freddie Prinze Jr.
I have always had a difficult time seeing Freddie Prinze Jr. take on masculine roles. Not that it is necessarily his fault, as the actor has always had a natural of aura of fruitiness that has followed him into every film he's ever done. What was that 'chick flick meets action spy' movie?
OK, OK, I have made my point.
For the upcoming thriller, Manslaughter, it looks like Prinze knows better and will remain (for the most part) behind the camera.
Freddie Prinze Jr. for Manslaughter
Freddie Prinze Jr. and partner Conrad Jackson will produce the crime-thriller Manslaughter under their Hunga Rican Entertainment banner. Jackson will also write and direct.
Manslaughter follows five college students looking for fun in the Philippines. The students find themselves embroiled in a manslaughter they try to cover up, leaving them scrambling for their lives.
Freddie Prinze is confirmed to only have a cameo role in the film. Production on Manslaughter is set to begin this May in Los Angeles.
