Spider-Man 3
I am already against the latest contest for Spider-Man 3 since it doesn't feature a single city remotely close to me.
No, we are not located in Canada (common misconception), but Newport Beach, CA. You know, CA, as in California.
Anywho, Columbia Pictures is letting fans vote on where they feel the early, black curtain, screenings of Spider-Man 3 should take place. Think the votes are bias?
Black Curtain for Spider-Man 3
Face front, true believers, because the black costume is coming to Black Curtain Screenings! This summer, as darkness descends upon New York City’s greatest hero, so too will it descend on MySpace when Black Curtain Screenings falls into the web of Spider-Man 3, the biggest motion picture event of the year.
Spider-Man is back, this time in black, and to honor the return of everyone’s favorite wall crawler, Black Curtain Screenings is doing something we’ve never done before – giving you the great power and great responsibility of choosing which friendly neighborhood will play host to our exclusive presentation of the film!
We’ve picked ten cities for you to choose from, most of which have never seen a Black Curtain Screening before! Starting now, you can vote for your favorite city, and on April 30th, Black Curtain Screenings will swing into your town and unveil Spider-Man 3 – one week before the film opens nationwide, free and exclusively for MySpace members!
Biggest motion picture event of the year? I bet Fox (Live Free or Die Hard), Disney (Pirates of the Caribbean: At Worlds End), New Line (The Golden Compass), Paramount (Transformers) and Warner Bros (Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix) would have something to say about that.
Vote for the black curtain now at MySpace.
Spider-Man 3 opens to theatres on May 4th.
