South Park
Every holiday I like to get a couple fun updates out there to entertain our readers that have to struggle through the drudgery of a little thing called hanging with the family. Since today is Good Friday, or what I like to call Easter Eve, I figured a little South Park was in order?
Why South Park? Well, for one, I spent the last two days laughing my ass off at the Season 10 premiere, "Make Love Not Warcraft".
South Park Episode: Make Love Not Warcraft
Though I assume that most of our readers know what World of Warcraft (WOW) is, let me give a brief introduction.
The popular MMORPG (Massive Multiplayer Online Role-Playing Game) currently has somewhere between 7 and 8 million subscribers. 40% of these gamers are supposedly addicted and God (or maybe Blizzard admins) only knows how many players waste not hours but days to the fantasy.
I had thought about buying the game (and paying the monthly subscription) just so I can see what it was all about, but if I got hooked it would most likely lead to the fall of CanMag and me checking myself into Gamers Anonymous.
The Season 10 premiere of South Park, humorously titled "Make Love Not Warcraft", is not only hilarious, but shows er, exaggerates how far some players are willing to go for the game.
