Leonardo DiCaprio is keeping his roots near the Oscar-winner, The Departed. The actor already announced that he and Scorsese will meet again on Wall Street and he will now reteam with Departed writer, William Monahan, for the adaptation of the new David Igantius novel, Body of Lies.
DiCaprio for Body of Lies
Though negotiations on Body of Lies haven't begun between DiCaprio and Warner Bros. just yet, the actor has already opened up a slot for the film. According to his planner, DiCaprio will have to finish Revolutionary Road, which reunites him with Titanic co-star Kate Winslet, before he can go forward with Lies.
Ridley Scott, who is already scouting locations around the globe for the shoot, will direct.
DiCaprio will play an ex-journalist-turned CIA agent who's sent to Amman to work with Jordan's intelligence chief to track an Al Qaeda leader rumored to be planning attacks against America.
Body of Lies is the third project that Monahan will have scripted for Scott, after Kingdom of Heaven and Tripoli.
