Harvey Dent: Two Face
Though it has been confirmed that both Harvey Dent and the Joker will make an appearance in The Dark Knight, there has yet to be any confirmation, or official suggestion, that hints, teases or even plays with the notion that Harvey Dent will become the villain Two-Face by the end of the film's running time.
Goyer Hints Two-Face in The Dark Knight
During a recent interview with Sci Fi Wire, David Goyer jumps out of the topic of conversation, which was The Invisible by the way, to touch upon The Dark Knight.
"I think Harvey Dent has been mentioned. I don't know that Two-Face has been mentioned."
"All I can say is some people raised their eyebrows when they heard there were going to be two villains in the first film [Batman Begins], but I think that one worked out just fine."
In order to not let down the fans, Goyer goes on to mention that he plans to have The Dark Knight be more exciting than Batman Begins - which I assume requires (yet again) a second villain.
The Dark Knight opens to theatres on July 18th, 2008.
