Nicolas Cage surprised us with the box office hit National Treasure and I find it foolish to doubt him now. Though adventure films normally do better than sci-fi, Cage's Next could be the next big thing. Sure, it could use some more Jessica Biel in clad outfits (like Chuck and Larry), it still looks like a fun time.
Movie Clips: Next
Paramount Pictures has released four new movie clips for Next that don't go too far beyond the realm of the trailer but, hey, they are a start. Wait a sec, this sci-fi thriller is due out by the end of this month, maybe we are due a little more.
In short, the film looks like it will have to rely on special effects - which (so far) look good. But let's not get carried away, the story will have to carry as well - most of which Paramount has kept under the veil.
