Kevin Bacon for Taking Chance
Kevin Bacon has been picked up to star in the Iraq war film Taking Chance from HBO Films. Ross Katz will direct.
Bacon will play Lt. Col. Michael Strobl, an officer who accompanies the body of fallen U.S. soldier Chance Phelps as it is returned home from Iraq for a burial in Wyoming.
The film will be based off Strobl's short story of the same name. Strobl is currently working with Katz to adapt the story into a working screenplay.
Kevin Bacon can next be seen in the upcoming film Death Sentence.
Taking Chance will enter production this summer with network release some time during 2008.
