After a stroke of good luck in the film The Last Mimzy, The Office star will return to film again for the DreamWorks comedy Girlfriend Experience.

Wilson's own idea, the actor will play a lonely geek who, in an effort to make himself seem more desirable, hires a prostitute to pretend she's his girlfriend. Scribes Mark and Brian Gunn, who recently scripted Mighty Mouse for Paramount, will write the screenplay.
Wilson approached the writers
after reading Juvie, a Universal script they wrote for Office co-star Steve Carell.
Ivan Reitman and Tom Pollock will produce. The duo recently came off Disturbia, the first film in a 10-picture, $200 million arrangement.
Wilson just wrapped production on the Jason Reitman-directed Juno. He is currently writing another script for Reitman to direct.
