A sneak peak of a sneak peak is always interesting -- somewhat similar to a trailer of an upcoming trailer. Yes, both have happened before, and the sneak peak will happen again for Disney/Pixar's Ratatouille.
Sneak Peak Clip: Ratatouille
Audiences eager to see Disney•Pixar’s upcoming summer comedy RATATOUILLE will get an early summer treat on Tuesday, May 1st when an extended 9-minute sequence from the film will debut exclusively on Disney.com. In an innovative cross-media promotion intended to make sure that audiences won’t miss this special debut, Disney will launch a day long television advertising campaign highlighted by a :90-second commercial during “American Idol.”
The sneak peak for the sneak peak is essentially a combo trailer that promotes the film's release date, June 29th, and the nine-minute clip's time of release, May 1st. According to Pixar, this clip will represent an nine-minute 'chunk' of Ratatouille.
So far the animation and story both look excellent, so this clip shouldn't have much to prove there - save for the task of garnering more attention around the film.
