Ludacris
Playing a cameo on The Simpsons is one of the signs of "making it" in Hollywood. Only the coolest of the cool, or the most outrageous flashes in the pan, get to be animated Matt Groening style. Chris "Ludacris" Bridges has earned that honor in one of this season's final Simpsons episodes.
The Simpsons Gets Ludacris
"Yeah, like a small cameo on The Simpsons," Bridges explained. "It' s like a number number breaking episode, I can’t remember the exact number."
That would be 400, which at this point seems kind of small. Haven't there been at least 1000 already? Anyway, The Simpsons are airing two episodes the night of May 20, including a 24 spoof with Kiefer Sutherland as Jack Bauer. Bridges is simply playing Ludacris. "I play myself."
Imagine Ludacris with a Simpsons overbite. You'll have to for now, because Bridges himself hasn't even seen his Groening-esque visage yet. "I haven’t seen it yet. That was a crazy thing. I did a voice for the markup, but I haven’t seen the finish version. So, I’d be just as surprised as everybody else."
The Simpsons airs Sundays at 8 on FOX (as it has for over a decade.)
