Dax Shepard is going to work to one genre and one genre only - comedy. Sure, he may switch things up once every 100 blue moons, but the comedy genre is where he belongs. Recently appearing in Let's Go to Prison and Employee of the Month, the actor has quite a few new projects coming our way with the latest being Baby Mama.
Dax Shepard For Baby Mama
Universal Pictures has picked up Dax Shepard to co-star with Tina Fey, Amy Poehler and Sigourney Weaver in their upcoming comedy Baby Mama.
Written and directed by Michael McCullers, Baby Mama centers on a single woman (Fey) whose desire to have a child and keep her career leads her to hire a surrogate (Poehler).
Shepard stars as Carl, the philandering husband of Poehler. When Carl tries to scam the surrogate, it brings the two women together.
Shepard can next be seen in the comedy Smother where he stars next to Liv Tyler.
The actor also has a few other projects coming our way including The Retreat, Get 'Em Wet and Car Wars.
Baby Mama is expected to enter production this month.
