Live Free or Die Hard
The news of a PG-13 Die Hard surprises many, considering the first three were solid Rs. With Bruce Willis unavailable for comment, we had to nail his costar on the hard hitting issue of a sanitized Live Free or Die Hard. Mary Elizabeth Winstead told us not to worry.
Winstead Talks PG-13 for Live Free or Die Hard
"I've definitely heard plenty about it," she admitted. "I think it's going to be a great film no matter what it's rated. I think that there's a lot of action in it, it's awesome. So I think that hopefully people embrace it no matter what."
And really, we all watched the Die Hard movies as kids anyway. "That's true. I know I did. I don't know, I feel like it's up to the studio and whoever's making the ratings. It's not my choice. I can't make the decision so I kind of have to accept it no matter what."
Winstead has not yet seen the finished film, but the segments she has seen are pretty rocking with CGI debris flying by her head. "I've seen portions and it looks amazing so I'm really excited to [see the final film]."
Live Free or Die Hard opens to theatres on June 27th.
