Here is a quick media update coming your way for Pirates of the Caribbean: At Worlds End. With Spider-Man 3 closing out its second weekend at the box office, Disney figured now was as good as time as any to begin promotion-escalation on Pirates 3. To kick off the week the studio has released four new clips from the film online.
Movie Clips: Pirates of the Caribbean: At Worlds End
The good people over at MovieFone have posted four new clips for At Worlds End available in both regular format and, even better, high-definition.
Each clip comes in just under a minute, giving us almost four minutes direct from the film. How do they look?
As I have said repeatedly, it is great to have Geoffrey Rush back as Captain Barbossa -- I immediately felt improvement the second the character steps into the frame. Worlds End also seems to have a darker tone thanks to some darker cinematography and, what's the word, landscapes? That's not what I was going for, but you'll know when you watch them.
All in all, the film does look to be a better installment than Dead Man's Chest, but can it compare to Black Pearl?

Pirates of the Caribbean: At Worlds End now opens to theatres on May 24th.
