Super Bad James Dynomite
What can we say, comicbook adaptations are one hot commodity -- even if its from the minds of the Wayans Brothers.
Rogue to Adapt Super Bad James Dynomite
Rogue Pictures has teamed up with the Wayans Brothers to adapt their comicbook creation, Super Bad James Dynomite, into a live-action comedy that will star Marlon Wayans as the title character.
Written by Marlon, Shawn and Keenen Ivory Wayans, Super Bad James Dynomite is an inner-city antihero reminiscent of blaxploitation staples Shaft, Dolemite and Black Belt Jones. Framed by a rival and sent away for a long prison stretch, he returns hopelessly out of step. He must regain his cool and try to take down the man who framed him.
"When we created the comicbook, I always envisioned playing the title character on the bigscreen," said Marlon Wayans.
Rogue, who also bought another script of recent from the minds of Marlon and Shawn, is hoping to have the film in production later this year.
