Playing one of the key assassins in Smokin' Aces and an Other in LOST, Nestor Carbonell will play the mayor of Gotham in The Dark Knight.
Busy tracking those with special talents as the head of some top-secret group, Thompson (Eric Roberts) recently bit the bullet (literally) during the last episode of Heroes. Fortunately, the character's death has opened him up for the role of Mafia kingpin.
The Dark Knight opens to theatres on July 18th, 2008.
