The Dead Zone star Anthony Michael Hall has recently popped up to announce that not only has he been cast in The Dark Knight, but he can't say a single thing about his role or the film's production.
Anthony Michael Hall for The Dark Knight
LA Daily News recently caught up to Anthony Michael Hall and the actor claimed that his lips had to remain sealed or he'd risk giving something away in The Dark Knight.
"I signed a confidentiality agreement, and I can't say which part I'm playing because it affects the story," says Hall. "I can't give away the suspense — it's a $200 million surprise, and I don't want to be the guy to ruin it."
He adds, "I'm excited about it — Christian Bale back as Batman. Heath Ledger is joining the cast as the Joker. Of course, Morgan Freeman and Michael Caine return, and they're great."
Though Hall is still in production for the sixth season of The Dead Zone, the TV series cast and crew were willing to bend over backwards to allow the actor a three-day weekend so he could fly to London and catch the first day of Dark Knight's production.
"It was just a thrill. I felt like a rock star leaving the set, flying to London, going to shoot on a Saturday, you know?"
