Though Spain and the Italians will have Transformers first, the Los Angeles Film Festival will give some competition with its own June premiere.
Transformers Coming to LA on June 27th
Transformers will hold its Los Angeles premiere at the Los Angeles Film Festival on June 27th.
Set for a July debut, Transformers will screen at The Landmark Regent, the Mann National, the Mann Bruin and the Mann Village, where the main premiere will take place.
Like many tentpole premieres, DreamWorks/Paramount will be holding a party afterwards.
"Transformers is the ultimate L.A. movie, with many of its most exciting action sequences shot on the city's streets," said Lorenzo di Bonaventura, who produced.
