Fletch (The "Jane Doe" Edition)
Without the participation of Chevy Chase, the behind the scenes crew found a brilliant way to frame their piece with humor. The DVD producer becomes a Fletch-like character with non sequiturs and sarcasm, even the Fletch theme song.
DVD Review: Fletch (The "Jane Doe" Edition)
It moves into some standard "making of…" sections featuring supporting players and filmmakers. They actually got a lot of interesting people to come back, just not the major stars (although Tim Matheson is fairly big). They do discuss deleted scenes that could not be found so that's as close as we'll get to it.
It's a DVD worth of Fletch himself. Fletch wouldn't take "behind the scenes" seriously so neither should the DVD.
