Got a double-package coming your way for I Am Legend. First is the film's teaser poster -- I know, not that exciting since we posted the draft version yesterday -- and then the teaser trailer.
Teaser Trailer: I Am Legend
Robert Neville (Will Smith) is a brilliant scientist, but even he could not contain the terrible virus that was unstoppable, incurable…and manmade. Somehow immune, Neville is now the last human survivor in what is left of New York City…and maybe the world. But he is not alone. He is surrounded by "the Infected"—victims of the plague who have mutated into carnivorous beings who can only exist in the dark and who will devour or infect anyone or anything in their path.
For a teaser trailer, the first go for I Am Legend is pretty sweet. People in a War of the Worlds type panic, explosions, chaos, quite, and then solitude. That is until you realize you have to be armed to survive, which sucks.
Props to whoever made the segment that shows the car driving through the empty city.
