Casino Royale
First a writer and now a director. After picking up Paul Haggis to direct Bond 22 - the same scribe who nailed Casino Royale -- MGM and Columbia Pictures has picked up Marc Forster to direct the next Bond installment.
Marc Forster to Direct Bond 22
That's right kids, pre-production is up and running with both a writer and director for the next James Band installment, which currently has a working title of Bond 22.
Forster is an interesting choice as director considering he has never proven himself in the action genre. Finding Neverland, Stranger than Fiction and Monster's Ball were great sure, but none of them featured a super agent who used wit, brawn and (few) gadgets to take down international villains.
Marc Forster's schedule recently opened up with the completion of The Kite Runner.
Bond 22 is still slated for release on November 7, 2008.
