The Chronicles of Narnia: The Voyage of the Dawn Treader
Just over two months ago AICN scooped that Michael Apted had been put in place to direct The Chronicles of Narnia: The Voyage of the Dawn Treader. Only now have we received an official confirmation.
Michael Apted to Direct The Chronicles of Narnia: The Voyage of the Dawn Treader
Variety has confirmed that Disney Pictures and Walden Media have tapped Michael Apted to direct The Chronicles of Narnia: The Voyage of the Dawn Treader. Mark Johnson will produce the third installment in the series with Andrew Adamson, who, as you should know, directed the first two.
Prince Caspian is due out in 2008 and Dawn Treader will follow with a theatrical release set for May 1, 2009. A year apart, not too shabby.
The Chronicles of Narnia: The Voyage of the Dawn Treader will begin filming January. Returning cast members include Ben Barnes, Georgie Henley and Skandar Keynes.
