Broadbent, who will play a Yale U. professor in the film, got in just in time with Spielberg already filming Indy IV in New Mexico.
Scripted by David Koepp, Indiana Jones IV's plot has remained top secret.
Paramount and Lucasfilm hope to release the film in May, 2008.
Broadbent is one of England's most popular actors with films such as The Chronicles of Narnia, Vanity Fair, Moulin Rouge! and Hot Fuzz under his belt. The actor has even more projects coming our way including Inkheart and And When Did You Last See Your Father?.
