Ryan Gosling for The Lovely Bones
Ryan Gosling will star opposite Rachel Weisz.
Based on Alice Sebold's novel, The Lovely Bones revolves around a young girl who has been murdered and watches over her family--and killer--from heaven. Girl must weigh her desire for vengeance against her desire for her family to heal.
Though I never saw Gosling as 'old', the actor has picked up the role of father while Weisz will play the grieving mother.
The Lovely Bones will begin filming this October in (you guessed it) New Zealand.
Ryan Gosling was last seen in Fracture and Stay. He also garnered an Oscar nomination for his performance in the indie film Half Nelson.
