Kevin Costner has found some company for Swing Vote. With the populist comedy set to begin filming on July 23rd, Dennis Hopper -- who recently made a brief cameo on Entourage -- Nathan Lane, Kelsey Grammer, Stanley Tucci, George Lopez and Madeline Carroll have all added their names to the callsheet.
More Cast for Swing Vote
Directed by Joshua Michael Stern off a script by him and Jason Richman, Swing Vote is an indie election comedy that revolves around a single father thrust into the national spotlight when the presidential election comes down to his vote.
Hopper and Grammer will play the Democratic candidate and Republican incumbent, while Lane and Tucci will play their respective campaign managers.
Lopez will play the local TV station manager whose town is descended upon by the political machinery of both parties.
Swing Vote will mark the first project to come from Costner and producing partner Jim Wilson's new banner, Treehouse Films. The shingle will represent projects that are produced fully by Costner.
