Chris Tucker returns to the big screen after a six-year absence as he reunites with the all-star team of co-star Jackie Chan, director Brett Ratner (Rush Hour, Rush Hour 2, X-Men: The Last Stand, Hannibal), and writer Jeff Nathanson (Rush Hour 2, Catch Me If You Can) to deliver the third installment of the blockbuster Rush Hour franchise.
The film kicks off with a knock against Dreamgirls and Hairspray and then quickly jumps into the same opening we saw from the first trailer. Though somewhat disappointing, the trailer makes up for its similar start by adding more footage to just about every scene we have already seen from the first trailer. It works, and having the last 30 seconds serve as a compilation of stunts helps too. Like the trailer before it, this latest version ("2C") gives us an extended piece of dialogue from Jackie Chan. Its okay, but not nearly as good as Chris Tucker's "stop humiliating yourself" finish.
