Here is one of the few times we will ever see a feature trailer that shows just as little as the teaser trailer. Hell, this feature trailer for The Golden Compass even has a shorter running time than its teaser.
Fortunately for us, the latest trailer does not waste any time pointing out that it was New Line who brought us the Lord of the Rings. Instead, the trailer jumps right into both new and old footage from the film including a couple new shots of Dakota Richards and a single show of Daniel Craig and Nicole Kidman one step closer to making whoopie.
It looks like the daemon effects are not yet complete, as most of the shots shown in this new trailer are still daemon-less. What is a daemon you ask? Well, if you had read the book, you would know that a daemon is your permanent animal companion that speaks to you and acts like your conscience -- everybody has got one. We later find out that this daemon represents something else, but I don't want to ruin it for anybody.
There is one shot shown in the trailer, however, that is chalk full of daemons. Pay attention.
