After a week-long debate on whether Harvey Dent would actually become Two-Face and make an appearance in The Dark Knight, Aaron Eckhart has surfaced to confirm that the villain will in fact take part in the film.
The good people at MTV Movies Blog caught up with Eckhart and learned some new details from the production of The Dark Knight.
– He’s playing Harvey Dent AND Harvey Two-Face. Both appear in the film.
– Eckhart won’t say if he’s got a scarred coin at any point in the film but check out that smile when I ask him. Read into it as you will.
– Eckhart leaves half of his script in his hotel and keeps half with him at all times. He says the script isn’t going to be leaked by him.
– Finally he dodges whether he’s worked with Ledger but says they’ve conversed and that they are “both as the French say, ‘d’accord.’”

The Dark Knight: Harvey Dent's Promotion
Though there are some of you who are already assuming that Two-Face's appearance will come at the end of the film as a bridge into the next, MTV seems to doubt it. Off intuition alone, the site assumes that we will see 'a lot' of Eckhart as Two-Face.
The Dark Knight opens to theatres on July 18th, 2008.
