Myriad Pictures just found its cast in Brittany Murphy, Jason Lee, Giovanni Ribisi, Jim Broadbent, Tim Roth and Lili Taylor for their upcoming fantasy comedy The Other Side.

Directed by producer David Michaels, The Other Side centers on a young grad student, to be portrayed by Murphy, who must spend the summer working at a scientific institute on a remote northern island. She discovers an eccentric community of characters who are hiding a secret about a terrible tragedy that took place many years before.
David Michaels wrote the script with the help of Phil Reeves.
Brittany Murphy was last heard in Happy Feet while Jason Lee can next be heard in Underdog.
Myriad Pictures has a couple other projects on the horizon including Mother of Tears, Death-Defying Acts, starring Catherine Zeta Jones and Guy Pearce, and Six Bullets from Now, starring Josh Lucas and Lena Headey.
