With filming scheduled to begin next month, M. Night Shyamalan has been making some last-minute additions to his next "might be a huge twist" thriller, The Happening.

The Happening stars Mark Wahlberg as a man who takes his family on the run when a natural disaster threatens to end the world. Leguizamo will play his best friend.
Fox has already picked a popular release date for the film with Friday, June 13th, 2008.
John Leguizamo can next be seen in the Spike TV miniseries The Kill Point, which debuts this Sunday.
This fall, he appears in the screen adaptation of Gabriel Garcia Marquez's novel Love in the Time of Cholera, directed by Mike Newell and set to bow Nov. 16.
Leguizamo also has quite a few indie films coming our way including Where God Left His Shoes, which garnered buzz at this year's Tribeca Film Festival; The Take and The Babysitters.
