Last season of Entourage looked like Turtle was going to become the successful leader. If he’d signed Saigon, he could presumably have a more lucrative career than Vince. But after losing his first and only client, we haven’t heard much on the music front. Neither has actor Jerry Ferrera.

“This season is very, very devoted to the Medellin movie and the whole Pablo Escobar story,” said Ferrera. “In terms of Turtle, he’s a secondary character in this whole plot. It could definitely come back. He hasn’t personally given up on it. I think he was a little maybe discouraged after the whole Saigon incident happened, but I know the direction Doug Ellin wants to take the character is more along those lines of becoming more independent but it’s a fine line because you can’t have him get too far away from the guys. The show is called Entourage. It’s not called Music Manager so you can’t have him get too far away from his boys.”
With the other boys putting their finances on the lines to finance their own film, Turtle has mainly avoided the hard decisions. Ferrera is enjoying the storylines. “I love it. I think that everything can’t always be roses all of the time. They kind of have been for Vince up until this year. Everything’s always had a funny way of working out like Aquaman and all that stuff. I think this season you’re really seeing Vince and Eric lay it all on the line which in turn affects Drama and Turtle very much. I like the way the show is right now. I like the fact that he’s kind of taken his destiny into his own hands. It’s a project we’ve been talking about since the first season, Medellin, so I think it’s fantastic.”
Looking ahead, the cast awaits word on season five. “I know Doug Ellin is off on vacation somewhere. When we wrap, everybody just kind of winds down. I have no idea what’s in store for season five. Hopefully there is going to be a season five. It’s kind of hard to speculate but I think that definitely could come back into play.”
